At the beginning of October this year we received a company that declared an energy demand of about 1,700 MWh per year. We helped her save nearly 1⁄3 of electricity costs by choosing the right partner to produce green energy. So the company saves money and the environment!
Our client is a production company from the chemical industry, working in a two-shift system. After examining the documents provided by the client and preparing the energy profile, we added it to our database.
Here the main work is done by our algorithms, which in an optimal way combine pairs of the manufacturer - the recipient of RES to cover the demand for green energy as much as possible.
Technical data
We analysed the available profiles and after connecting them to our client profile, we got the best possible match - cover 40.06%! The offer was made by a 2.3 MW photovoltaic farm, which produced a total of 2 297 MW in the last 12 months. What does it mean to “cover 40.06%”? For this client, as much as 687 MWh of its annual demand was supplied with green energy from a photovoltaic farm. The remaining demand - 1 028 MWh - the customer complements on the Good Energy Exchange on the Market of the Next Day, which is called TGE SPOT. The rest of the energy produced by the farm, i.e. 1,610 MWh, will be sold at the same place - on TGE SPOT.
So what's the price? And what savings through green energy?
Assuming that the client will buy energy from the farm at the maximum price, which is specified in the Regulation on the calculation of the price limit, issued to the Act of 7 October 2022 with special solutions to protect electricity customers in 2023 in connection with the situation on the electricity market, i.e. at the price of PLN 355 per MWh and assuming the average price of the SPOT of October 2022, published by the President of PURE 2022 in the amount of PLN 646,93/1 MWh, as well as the cost of balancing the trade, the annual cost of purchasing electricity by the client in this contract will be around PLN 741,6 thousand, with all balancing costs and commission for OZEOS.
Suitable offer
In case of remaining with the current Seller, the Customer will be covered by a support system, resulting from the Act of 7 October 2022 with special solutions to protect electricity customers in 2023 due to the situation on the electricity market and its price for 1 MWh in 2023, will be PLN 785,00 for MWh. The annual cost of purchasing the entire volume in the price resulting from the Act will be PLN 1,33 million. Then the difference in the amount of the purchase will be almost PLN 0.6 million. All thanks to tailor-made offers, selected using unique RESOS technology. As soon as a manufacturer appears in the RES database, who will be able to cover another part of the customer's energy demand from RES, the customer will receive another complementary offer from RES. This mix is possible with our advanced technology based on unique algorithms.
