Real estate is becoming greener. Today, proper segregation and recycling of waste or sensors to optimise energy consumption in modern office buildings is standard. For large real estate managers, it is also important to zero-emission buildings when low energy consumption goes hand in hand with covering it - preferably entirely - from renewable sources. Therefore, for our client we are looking for a RES supplier under a long-term cPPA contract.
Request for tender for sale of electricity in the form of cPPA
On behalf of our business partner we are looking for a cPPA contract with the following parameters:
- Annual volume 60 GWh - 2 contracts after 30 GWh (the target level of cultivation may increase),
- RES source structure: 60-70% wind energy (18-21 GWh/year), 30-40% PV energy (9-12 GWh/year),
- 5 Year contract (in case of longer ones, please clearly select),
- contract start: 01.2025,
- energy will be accounted for by several entities (NIPs, including several to several dozen PPEs),
- for balancing of receipt will be the responsibility of the POB designated by the Contracting Authority,
- The POB indicated by the Contracting Authority will be responsible for balancing the farm; the minimum balancing cost will be agreed at the term sheet stage with the participation of the POB
- formula pay as produced,
- cPPA with physical delivery,
- an offer with a fixed price during the contracting period/indexed offer,
- Duration of the offer 30 days,
- Once the offer has been accepted, the parties shall sign a term sheet setting out the essential conditions for cooperation, including:
- if the customer has to provide the security, the prepayment or corporate guarantee is preferred
- for the manufacturer, at least a bank guarantee
- of which, the cost of purchasing energy at a higher price than under the PPA contract in case of energy failure by the manufacturer
- minimum guaranteed volume,
- right to assign a contract to the new PPE and/or NIP with 6 msc penalty,
- exemption from the definition of force majeure ‘disablement on request of OSD and/or TSO’
- tenders may be submitted by 1 supplier to the indicated volume and structure as well as by independent suppliers (pv itself or wind itself) according to the specified structure.
