Trade Balancing
In a dynamically changing energy world, effective trade balance of electricity provides a proven path to the savings and financial stability of each company. In RESUOS we understand these challenges, which is why we offer specialized services, supporting our customers in achieving competitive advantage in purchasing energy. To facilitate this process, we carefully analyze every element of which it consists balance Energy Yours enterprises.
What is trade balance?
Commercial balance is all the activities and procedures whereby the Transmission System Operator (SP) ensures a continuous balance between the total energy received and introduced into the system. The lack of such stability could lead to serious disruptions and congestion throughout the national electricity grid. These actions are addressed by the designated Entity in charge of Balance sheeting (POB). It is this specialized unit that takes on the difficult obligation to accurately forecast current production and consumption. Actually selected the balancing entity ensures the safety and continuity of your accounts on the energy market. Thanks to this, you avoid severe financial penalties for deviations and gain full predictability of company costs. Each manufacturer must sign a contract with the balancing agent the source of RES and performing legal activities, so-called SOGL/REMIT. OZEOS is an experienced RES aggregate company providing customers with the necessary range of services required by law.
RES audit and company energy balance
Company energy balance is a summary of all energy flows - both from external sources and produced on the spot. It provides the basis for assessing the company's energy efficiency and indicates where the highest consumption or losses occur. On the other hand, the RES audit analyses the potential of using renewable energy sources in a given facility. There is a significant link between them in the context green energy balancing. Collected data from energy balance of the company allow the auditor to identify in which areas RES installations can bring the greatest benefits, renewable sources worth implementing, and what impact they will have on reducing energy and emissions costs.
What are trade balancing services?
Commercial balancing services include trade balance of electricity, which is a process ensuring a balance between the amount of energy put into the system and its consumption at a certain time. The scope of the activities includes reporting energy sources as graphic units and the creation and transmission of production or consumption forecasts to the Transmission System Operator. Comprehensive Balancer services include forecasting of the number of generations, monitoring their implementation and reporting deviations, with a view to optimising energy balance of the company.
What is SOGL?
The Grid Code Operator System (SOGL) is a set of rules and procedures governing the cooperation of energy market participants with the Transmission System Operator (SP). Rules for data transmission, reporting, balancing are laid down commercial and to cooperate to ensure the stability and security of the electricity system. In European markets, SOGL is part of regulation to ensure the proper functioning of the energy market and the management of its network flows. Commercial balancing services require full respect of SOGL, therefore the entity responsible for trade balancing it shall always take account of these regulations.

POB, or ‘Entity in charge of balance sheeting “ is responsible for maintaining a balance between the amount of energy entering the network and its actual consumption. In practice, this means that it supervises current flows, reacts to deviations and ensures that the electricity system functions stable. Each power generator, including one using RES sources, shall be obliged to conclude a contract with the selected the balancing entity (POB). It is he who represents the manufacturer towards transmission and distribution system operators. Thanks. the services of the balancing entity the manufacturer is legally operating on the market, fulfilling the obligations of the EU as well as national regulations such as SOGL and REMIT.
The role of POB in balancing renewable energy sources
For renewable energy sources, such cooperation is particularly important because production from photovoltaics or wind is variable and dependent on weather conditions. Therefore effective RES trading balance requires specialised monitoring, experience and appropriate tools. RES balancer acts as a technical and operational partner who takes responsibility for records, forecasts, notifications and energy accounting. Such close cooperation with specialists allows to reduce the internal administrative costs of your plant significantly. As Your direct partner responsible for the balancing process, we will easily relieve you of many official formalities. This enables the manufacturer to focus on production, ensuring that the whole balancing process is carried out in accordance with market requirements and regulators.
