Fixed price for PPA + balancing

This solution is addressed to companies that need green energy purchased under a cPPA contract for several years, and at the same time expect a fixed price for the entire profile of the purchased energy. 

When purchasing energy in a cPPA contract with a specific profile, e.g. photovoltaic or wind, or in the so-called mix, we always have to balance the energy with the profile of our company. Balancing services are performed by the so-called POB Entity Responsible for Trade Balancing (this role is played by sales companies with a license to trade in electricity). The energy that we need to balance is the energy that is not provided by renewable energy sources at a given moment, e.g. at night or during days when the sun doesn't shine and the wind doesn't blow. In such a situation, POB will purchase the necessary energy on our behalf on the Polish Power Exchange. A similar situation will occur when contracted by us, renewable energy sources will produce more energy than we need in our company at a given hour. POB will then sell the surplus on the Polish Power Exchange. Such operations in the situation balancing of cPPA contracts will occur basically every day.

The final price of the purchased energy will constitute the trade balance, consisting of the following ingredients:

[volume produced by RES x fixed PPA contract price] + [volume of purchased energy z TGE x price] +/- [volume of energy sold on TGE x price] + balancing costs + certificates + excise.

In such a solution for balancing energy purchased from renewable energy sources, its final price is known after closing of each trading month. Of course, we know its main price base in advance, i.e energy price from the cPPA contract, however, depending on the coverage of the demand profile and contracted volume, it may be between 50 and 80%. The rest of the components will be there variable.
